Presented annually by 31 November each year using data from the previous year. The methodological basis of this report are the standards of the European Monitoring Centre on Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA).

National Report on the alcohol situation and responses in the Republic of Kazakhstan

National Reports are based on aggregated public and non-confidential data from various ministries and departments, and are based on international standards. Presented annually by 31 December each year using data from the previous year. The methodological basis of this report is the international standard (WHO et al.) for assessing the situation with alcohol consumption in the country and alcohol policies. Key indicators for assessing and monitoring alcohol situation are: alcohol consumption among the population and special groups, the alcohol use with a high degree of risk, the use of medical services, the incidence of alcohol-related mortality associated with alcohol, social exclusion and distress, alcohol-related crime, economic costs of alcohol use, the availability of alcohol. This report is intended for the National Government and other decision-makers, researchers, professionals and all those interested.

Regional features of the alcohol and drugs situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan

This information product represents a regional comparative analysis on key indicators to assess the situation with the consumption of alcohol and drugs, as well as the specific responses in the regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The main indicators for comparing regions of the country are: alcohol and drug consumption, the burden on the health system and social security, the mortality rate due to alcohol and drug use, alcohol and drug-related crimes, features of regional alcohol and drug policies. The report is available in two languages at the end of 6 months after the order. It is based on public and non-confidential data of the previous year.

Drug situation: Kazakhstan in the global picture

This report aims to analyze global trends and comparison of the drug situation in the Republic of Kazakhstan with the international key indicators. The study examines global trends in the counteraction against drug trafficking, trends in drug prevention and treatment of drug dependence, and evaluation of correspondence counteracting measures of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the existing international standards and recommendations. The report is provided in three languages at the end of 14 months after ordering. It is based on public and non-confidential data of the previous year.
